How Your Information Is Handled

The work on this site depends on trust, and so does this page. It explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what you can ask for. If anything is unclear, write to Shorouk@shoroukalabdallah.com.
Who Is Responsible
This website belongs to Shorouk Al Abdallah, who practises as Evolve Coaching under ISource Consulting, a company in the Dubai South free zone, United Arab Emirates. Contact: Shorouk@shoroukalabdallah.com, +971 4 268 1410.
What Is Collected
- When you write or book a call: your name, email address, phone number, the subject and your message.
- When you request a Return to 37 invitation: your name, email address, phone number, age, and your answers to the short questions on the form.
- When you take the Life Balance Star: your name, email address, phone number and your scores, so your results can be sent to you.
- When you complete a welcome packet: your answers to the Getting to Know You questions. Some of these ask about your wellbeing, which is sensitive information: it is used only to prepare for your work together, and held in confidence.
- Analytics: how you use the site (the pages visited, roughly where from, and the type of device), through Google Analytics, unless you decline. In Europe, only if you accept.
Why It Is Used
To reply to you, to prepare for and carry out the work you ask for, to send you your assessment results, to run the programmes you join, and to understand how the site is used so it can be improved. Your information is never sold, and never used for advertising.
Cookies and Your Browser
This site uses Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…). If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, they are set only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are set when you visit. Wherever you are, you can decline at any time with Cookie Settings at the foot of every page, which removes them.
A few things are also kept in your own browser, and never sent anywhere by themselves: your cookie choice, an unfinished welcome packet (for up to 30 days, so you don't lose your answers), and a copy of the published testimonials (for up to 7 days, so they appear quickly).
Who Else Sees It
Only the providers that host this website and store what you submit, and Google, for analytics, unless you decline. Each of them processes the information only to provide that service. Nothing is shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How Long It Is Kept
Only as long as it is needed for the reason it was given, and for any legal obligations that apply. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, or the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask to see the information held about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop its use, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to Shorouk@shoroukalabdallah.com, and you will have a reply within 48 hours. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top will change with it.
